Having been named after a prophet in the Bible, I can't help but sense somewhat of a kindred spirit with Jeremiah. Part of this song came to me as I was singing this as a prayer over Israel, my Jewish people. At it's heart, it's a song of intercession for Israel to repent and turn to God.
lyrics
I'm the weeping prophet of the Lord

Oh I weep in the hands of the Lord
Oh I weep, I weep over you Jerusalem
Come back to me saith the Lord
The tears they flow my face for you
Oh
