What a simple cry, to tell God that we need Him. This is one of my earlier songs I wrote. Written as a desperate cry for God's touch in a spiritually dry time.
lyrics
I need you more than water
I need you more than life itself
I need you Heavenly Father
Like the breath that comes from my mouth
Like flesh to bones I need you
In a dry and weary land
My soul cries and thirsts for you
I will drink the water from your hand
I can't survive without you here
You give me your strength and you wipe away my tears
Now I see how little there really is of me
And I know, yes I know
